Welcome to NEXTANITY The Media ("Nextanity", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the platform you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
1. Who can use Nextanity
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country). Anyone can join as a fan.
You may register as an artist or screen talent only if you are NOT currently signed to a record label, publishing deal, talent agency contract, management deal, or exclusive distribution contract that restricts you from monetizing your music, image, performances, or creative work independently. See our Community & Eligibility Rules.
Screen talent includes actors, directors, writers, cinematographers, editors, crew, voiceover artists, and other film, TV, commercial, theater, or digital media professionals. The same independent-creator rule applies: your profile, reels, and auditions must be yours to share and monetize.
2. Your content
- You own everything you upload — music, artwork, videos, photos, lyrics, text, headshots, reels, self-tapes, audition clips, credits, résumés, and resumes.
- You grant Nextanity a limited, non-exclusive license to host, stream, transcode, cache, back up, and display your content solely so we can operate the platform on your behalf.
- You are solely responsible for confirming you have all rights (masters, publishing, samples, features, artwork, performance rights, likeness rights, third-party releases) required to upload and monetize the content.
3. Prohibited uploads
You may not upload content that is stolen, infringing, unlawful, harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative of minors, or that impersonates another artist or another person. We remove such content and terminate repeat offenders.
4. Nextanity Screen Hub
Nextanity Screen is a film, TV, commercial, and digital media hub where screen talent can build public profiles, share headshots and reels, and discover opportunities.
Screen profiles
When you publish a Screen profile, you choose what information is visible to the public (including casting directors, producers, and other members). Public profiles may display your name, photos, video reels, credits, union status, location, skills, languages, and other information you add.
Casting board
Premium members can post casting calls, crew calls, and other production roles. All signed-in members can apply to roles posted on the board. When you apply, the poster can see your public Screen profile and the pitch or note you include. Nextanity does not verify the identity of every poster or the accuracy of every role; you are responsible for doing your own diligence before submitting personal information, attending auditions, or accepting work.
Opportunities directory
The directory contains curated links to third-party casting sites, production listings, script markets, crew boards, and union resources. Nextanity does not control those sites or their listings, and linking to them is not an endorsement. Always read the source site's terms and current details before applying or paying.
Submission tracker and calendar
Saving resources, logging submissions, setting follow-up dates, and viewing the audition/deadline calendar are Premium features. These tools are for your personal tracking only; they do not guarantee auditions, callbacks, bookings, or earnings.
Casting safety
You never pay to audition. Legitimate casting directors and producers do not charge a fee to be seen. Do not send money, ID scans, or bank details to a "casting director" or "agent" over direct message. Meet in safe, professional locations, and verify the production company, contact name, and address before any in-person meeting.
5. Monetization
Artists and screen talent can sell merch, digital goods, beat licenses, sync licenses, services, fan memberships, and post production/casting roles through Stripe Connect. Premium unlocks additional Screen features such as unlimited headshots and reels, casting-call posting, and the submission tracker/deadline calendar.
Nextanity takes a platform fee (currently 9% on subscriptions and physical merch; other categories may vary and are disclosed at checkout). Taxes, refunds, chargebacks, and fulfillment are the seller's responsibility.
6. AI features
See the AI Disclosure. You are responsible for any AI-generated output you publish, license, or sell.
7. Account termination
You can delete your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, our Community rules, or applicable law. Repeat copyright infringers will be terminated.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is." We don't guarantee earnings, plays, streams, followers, auditions, callbacks, bookings, or business outcomes. We are a hub — success on Nextanity is up to you.
Nextanity does not guarantee the accuracy, safety, or legitimacy of any third-party opportunity, casting call, or external link posted on or linked from the platform. You are solely responsible for verifying opportunities, protecting your personal information, and deciding whether to submit or accept work.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Nextanity's total liability to you is limited to the greater of $100 or the platform fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, including any claims related to Screen Hub profiles, casting applications, opportunity tracking, or third-party links.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced on the platform. Continuing to use Nextanity after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
